We've been using our Bench Foods 10-Tray Dehydrator for about three weeks now, and we're absolutely thrilled with it! It's incredibly easy to use, delivers consistent results, and has quickly become a kitchen staple in our home.
So far, we've dehydrated apricots, nectarines, peaches, apples, strawberries, and mangoes. We've experimented with different slice thicknesses to achieve a range of textures – from chewy to crispy – and every batch has turned out perfectly. The kids absolutely love the homemade dried fruit snacks!
We also made fruit roll-ups using a yogurt, berry, flaxseed, and chia smoothie mixture, and they were a huge hit – tasty, healthy, and fun to make.
Today we started our first batch of biltong, and we're already excited to see how it turns out.
The 10-tray capacity is perfect for larger batches, and the results have been fantastic every time. Clean-up is straightforward, and the machine runs quietly and efficiently.
My only small wish is that Bench Foods would create an app or online community where users could easily share recipes, photos of their results, and reviews/comments on each other's creations. It would be amazing to see what everyone else is making!
Overall, this dehydrator has exceeded our expectations. If you're considering one, go for it – you won't be disappointed! Five stars without hesitation.

We purchased our 1st 16tray dehydrator approximately 10 years ago. We have since purchased another 7 dehydrators. Obviously this tells you that we are extremely happy with them. We use them to dry mangoes which we have been doing for over 30 years. These machines give our most successful results. We have recently started to dry beef jerky and are happy with the results of this also.

Best dehydrators by far and I have used many brands and models from Excalibur 5-9 trays and Weston medium and larger to others. These dehydrator fans are very even in the distribution of air and the texture in both fruits and jerky when finished is very good. Their customer service is excellent and have been very happy with the 32 tray side by side model.

We couldn't live without our commercial dehydrator now. Instead of having to process every day during our stone fruit season we can do a once a week or fortnight processing we regularly fit 120kg plus of fruit in the dehydrator. The deep trays are amazing for thick fruit delight and the flexibility of leaving trays out means we can do whole fruits like figs, apricots and even apples. Great service we have the silicon sheets to go with the trays makes flipping the sheets and clean up easy. This dehydrator needed a special plug but easily sourced and fitted by electrician. I'd recommend getting both the solid trays and the mesh trays or at least half and half if you can't afford both sets.
